CIBORIUS Group secures another success
The CIBORIUS Group has been awarded the contract for plant security at CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.) after already assuming comprehensive security services during the construction project of the new battery factory in Arnstadt.
Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) is the largest Chinese manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries and is now among the top ten automotive suppliers worldwide. In 2019, the company announced its intention to invest around 1.8 billion euros in Europe by 2025. Since the groundbreaking in 2019 in Arnstadt (CATL's European headquarters), CIBORIUS has been responsible for the security on the battery factory construction site.
The company offers a wide range of services such as access control, video surveillance towers, fire protection, and integrated access control systems. CIBORIUS Security & Service Solutions Berlin GmbH, a subsidiary of the CIBORIUS Group, impressed with its comprehensive security concept. Battery manufacturer CATL is on the verge of starting its production at Erfurter Kreuz. The high-performance batteries, used in electric vehicles among other applications, are of great importance. Therefore, it was crucial for CATL to find a reliable and responsible security service for the newly built industrial and administrative buildings.
CIBORIUS convinced with its concepts in the tender process and was awarded the contract for the demanding plant security. CATL's conviction in CIBORIUS is well-founded.
