Particularly strict requirements apply within so-called high-security facilities to protect people and the environment. High-security facilities include, for example, nuclear power stations, chemical works and pharmaceutical plants. Security guards are deployed at these facilities to carry out checks on persons and vehicles and to monitor technical security systems. Fire protection and occupational health and safety are also crucial in high-security facilities.
Requirements for deployment at high-security facilities:
- Clear criminal record certificate
- Willingness to do shift work
- Training as a certified security and protection officer from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (in certain cases)
- Firefighter technical training or paramedic training (in certain cases)
- Good written and spoken German
- Possibly certain physical requirements such as the ability to work at heights
There are many possible assignments for security personnel in public spaces. They are deployed to reduce the load on public authorities, to ensure order and safety on streets and squares through patrols and checks, to protect public buildings and facilities, or to secure events organised by the city, state or local authorities. Protecting refugee accommodation or emergency accommodation for the homeless also falls within this area of deployment.
Requirements for deployment in public spaces:

- Willingness to do shift work
- Passed examination to work with the Federal Police (Beleihungsprüfung) (in certain cases)

As a receptionist at a company or hotel, you represent the client to guests, business partners and visitors. A professional appearance and appropriate manners are vital. You welcome people, provide information and maintain day-to-day operations at night if necessary. You coordinate the flow of visitors into the building and carry out access controls. Due to your communicative and administrative tasks, language and software skills are highly desirable.
Requirements for deployment in reception services:

- Willingness to do shift work
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good command of English and other foreign language skills beneficial
- IT skills (MS Office, hotel software)
- Commercial training or training in the hotel and service industry beneficial
As an international working environment with numerous risks and a lot of activity on site, airports place high demands on security staff. You work independently and in coordination with authorities and airport staff. By screening people and baggage, as well as monitoring cargo and mail, you ensure that the airport remains a safe environment for passengers, flight and ground staff. A good knowledge of regular airport operations and constant vigilance are essential in order to immediately identify abnormal behaviour or suspicious persons and objects.
Requirements for deployment in airport operations:
- Passed examination to work with the Federal Police (Beleihungsprüfung)
- Reliability test
- Clear criminal record certificate
- Willingness to do shift work
- Good written and spoken German, good command of English, other foreign language skills beneficial
To ensure the safety and security of port facilities, ships, people and cargo, CIBORIUS carries out targeted checks. Our security staff tour the extensive facilities and report any damage or incidents. In cruise ship operations, they secure the terminal and screen passengers and luggage in a service-oriented manner. As well as preventing incidents, this ensures that all procedures in the port area run smoothly.
Requirements for deployment at ports:
- At least the specialist examination according to §34a of German trade law (GewO)
- Clear criminal record certificate
- Alternative additional training according to the requirements of the state authorities
- Education/further training according to ISPS code
- Good written and spoken German, good command of English
In mobile deployment, you carry out daily patrols to secure the properties and buildings of our clients and to report any damage or incidents. Locking services and night-time surveillance of the defined premises are also among your duties. You work closely with our employees in the emergency and service control centre and investigate the causes of triggered alarms and emergency calls on site, calling in support from the police and fire service in the event of an emergency.
Requirements for mobile deployment:
- At least the specialist examination according to §34a of German trade law (GewO)
- Clear criminal record certificate
- Willingness to do shift work
- Class B driving licence and at least two years' driving experience
- Clear record on the Central Traffic Register
- Car accident prevention course beneficial
- ADAC driving safety training beneficial

CIBORIUS has its own emergency and service centre in Frankfurt am Main. It is staffed around the clock by employees who handle up to several thousand incoming alarms and calls a day. The employees process up to several thousand incoming alarms and calls per day. They monitor different properties and sites using video surveillance technology. In the event of an incident or alarm, they immediately initiate measures according to a strictly observed emergency plan so that colleagues on site as well as the police and fire service can intervene.
Requirements for deployment in the emergency and service control centre:

- Qualification as a (senior) control centre specialist or as a security and protection officer from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce beneficial

- Ability to maintain constant attention, even in stressful situations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Very good written and spoken German, good command of English
By carrying out patrols and rounds of our clients' residential complexes in non-public areas, our CIBORIUS employees show their presence on the site and contribute to a safe living environment for residents and people passing through. As a security guard, you protect the entire residential complex against theft, vandalism and breaches of the peace.

Security technology systems support us tremendously in our work - intruder and fire alarm systems, access control systems and video surveillance increase our success rates, which makes them an essential part of our service portfolio. As a technician / IT specialist, you will install our systems at the client's premises and ensure that they continue running smoothly.
Requirements for deployment as a technician / IT specialist:
- Training as an electrician, system electronics technician or comparable technical training
- Expertise in the field of security technology with knowledge of guidelines and standards for installation and operation
- Good IT skills
- Class B driving licence
- Clear criminal record certificate
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights an advantage
- Good written and spoken German
Department store detectives are able to spot suspicious persons among the general customer traffic thanks to their presence and their experience. Observation skills are therefore crucial in order to recognise thieves by their behaviour and to detect them among the multitude of customers. Detectives' duties also include handling video surveillance systems and anti-theft devices. Confidence and the ability to de-escalate is vital when dealing with people in emotionally charged situations. You should also be physically fit in order to handle potential confrontations or attempts by suspects to flee the scene.
Requirements for deployment as a store detective:

- Specialist examination in the security sector from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
